	Quinta Real Beach Resort is located on the shore of the Caribbean Sea, in charming La Ceiba. The Hotel and Convention Center was designed to provide all services whether you are here for business or pleasure, or both.. Rooms at the front of hotel are best choice; rooms in the rear can be noisy at night with music from the La Palapa bar & restaurant behind the hotel. Hotel has 81 air-conditioned rooms, rates around usd $125 for a double room including buffet breakfast. Lunch and dinner are offered outside or in their air conditioned restaurant. A good selection of excellent food is offered along with good service and competitive pricing. One of our favs, only 5 min by car or taxi to anywhere in town.
	Parthenon Hotel is one of the oldest hotel landmarks along La Ceiba's Zona Viva, located a few blocks from the Quinta Real. It has been recently renovated, although not much beach area, the pool and public areas are super especially for families. Hotel offers Excellent dinning, good service. Has 94 air conditioned rooms, rates for a double are around usd $125 including breakfast.
TOWN CENTER if that's your choice we suggest the Hotel Paris or the La Quinta, both are centrally located in the usd $75 range, no meals included. Both hotels have A/C, pool and good dining. Lots of fast food chains nearby if that's what you like. Not us YUK, we're into green healthy stuff..ooops that's us. YIKES... Also a good variety of local restaurants within walking distance.
	Gran Hotel Paris, Located in the heart of the city, this 81 room hotel is a little oasis in front of the Central Park. Since its opening in 1915 it is the traditional place for business executives and tourists because of its easy access to major business establishments, financial institutions and city hall. Nice tiki bar by pool, a great place to meet locals and visitors
	La Quinta Hotel, central location, nice pool, good dinning. Hotel offers 146 rooms including single; king, double, suite, junior suite and deluxe suite. All with A/C, telephone, hair dryer, cable TV, safety box, plus meeting space for small to medium size groups. Private Country Club for golfers conveniently located across the street.
For the thrifty at heart
	Hotel Versailles, a 50 room boutique hotel a half block off the Zona Viva, near the Quinta Real & Pantenon Hotels, but not on the beach. Nice clean rooms, Pool, A/C, cable TV, small friendly pool bar. Price is in the usd$50 range for double room. Located in the heart of the Zona Viva.
	Hotel Paseo Delfin, This boutique hotel with 50 rooms is on the beach at the other end of the Zona Viva. A/C, cable TV, Pool, Food is good and reasonable. This area is called Colonia Alhambra one block from th beach park Los Maestros which has become very popular especially on the weekends. Also in the usd $50 range.
Some of our very special places off the beaten path
	Hotel Palma Real Beach Resort. This is one of our fun places. About a 20 min drive from La Ceiba. The resort offers an all-inclusive package including, meals, soft and alcohol beverages along with many other amenities.
	Villas Pico Bonito is our very special hideaway located on a spectacular section of the Congrejal River, deep in the cloud forested jungle of Pico Bonito National Park. The property has a huge infinity pool right in front of the largest waterfall on the river. All 8 villas have full kitchens (Jungle Lodge, kitchenette). Don't want to cook? Enjoy delicious grilled foods and fruit juices at their Hidden Paradise Bar and Grill, it's where we go to kick back and enjoy a hamburger in paradise. 	Villas Solidad B&B, La Villa de Soledad is a family run bed and breakfast in a lovely location along the Rio Congrejal that will give you a real feeling of being in a remote corner of Honduras. It is quite easily accessible, as it lies only 8 km outside the city of La Ceiba. Rates are seasonal starting at usd $75 for a double room, includes taxes and breakfast. Each of the rooms opens to a spacious outdoor porch with hammocks and garden furniture for creating your own natural environment.
	Paradise Found is another special place about 15 min from La Ceiba. The property is owned and operated by our friend Dante and his wife. 	Villa Helen's is located in the Sambo Creek area about 15 min from La Ceiba. They are another of our off the beaten path intimate beach places and walking distance to Paradise Found. Helen's restaurant is noted for good food and ambiance. There are 4 rooms priced at usd $45 and 6 cabins economically priced from usd $50 to usd $80.
